Last year, the Friends of Hall’s Pond was the only Brookline Park Friends group to receive CPA funds. Ann Frechette, co-president of that group, will speak at the July 10 Zoom Coffee and share what she learned about the application process.

One of the topics on the agenda for the , BGSA Zoom Coffee for Park Friends groups is how to apply to Brookline’s Community Preservation Act Committee for CPA funds. The CPA Committee has announced that potential applicants must send a representative to an information session. The session for open space and recreation will be on July 16 at 5:30 p.m. Some parks and green spaces also may be eligible for historic preservation funds. That information session will be on July 16 at 3:30 p.m. See below for more details.

Even if your Park Friends group is not sure if it will apply for CPA funds, you might want to save the date for one or both of the July 16 information sessions that the CPA Committee is holding for potential applicants.

Although the July 16 information sessions will offer the most up-to-date information, on the Town website you can read more about Brookline’s CPA Committee and what it has doe so far:
